Aim just ahead of the fish as they swim, the farther down they are, the farther ahead you need to aim so they'll be right where the hook is when it gets there.

You don't need to collect every fish that goes by so be strategic when you release the line. Collect the nuts so that you can upgrade which makes the game easier. Try to collect all the time and defence boosts as they are very helpful
